How can people afford to Study in America?

  • Hi I would love to study Nursing in America but i keep hearing its virtually impossible as its so expensive There are thousands of foreign students in America so how do they afford it surely they cant all come from rich families

    good question, i think that some of them are given scholarships so they can study abroad and the company will pay for them to study... however these are usually in luxury jobs such as football scholarships or lawyer scholarships, i doubt they would do it for Nursing

Actually, the American dollar is worth less than the British pound. Some people will come over here and stay with people while they study until they can pay them back. We run an inn and some foreign students stay at it for months on end while studying. Otherwise, a lot of foreign students get grants, loans, and scholarships.
