What are some British universities that are friendly to an aspiring international student from the USA?

Universities in USA for an international student? International Baccalaureate?

• I'm in my fifth year of school (I'm 16) in the UK. In my sixth and seventh years I'm going to be studying the I.B. (International Baccalaureate) with English, Economics and Psychology at a Higher Level and Biology, French and Maths at a Lower Level. I wanted to know how well the IB is recognised in the US and how easily it will be able to gain a place at university as an international student with IB results that should at least achieve 5 in every subject. Also, can anyone recommened some good universities for me to look at over the Internet as I'm at a loss as to where to start. At the moment I'm interested in studying psychology, law, journalism or teaching at uni. Preferably I would like to go somewhere with a hot climate. If you can help, please do & thank you! :)

  The IB is well recognised by US universities. You would also need to take the SATs. http://sat.collegeboard.org/home Law is not taught in the US at undergraduate level. You need a Bachelor's degree to go to law school.
