From australia wanting to know which american university would be best for my study abroad?

U of Florida is in a fairly small town. Tulane is in New Orleans- party central. NAU is a good school, and not too cold, but they don't like foreigners much in Arizona. The police will hassle you about your visa all the time. UNC Wilmington is near the beach, if that means anything to you. It's the Atlantic, though. Tulane is relatively near the Gulf of Mexico, which is calmer and warmer, but you have to go east to Alabama because the nearer Gulf is full of silt from the Mississippi River. Georgetown is probably the top of the list academically. It's in Washington, D.C., so plenty to do. Virginia Commonwealth is a lovely school. I have never heard of Bellarmine. The others are going to be cold- especially Minnesota. You do know that your winter is our summer, right? January and February are the coldest months- those are the times you really don't want to be in Minnesota. They have to plug their car batteries in when they go shopping or they freeze and won't start.
