I want to study abroad?

I want to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan? what do I do?

  • Hi there I been thinking of study aboard for while now. I decided that I want to go to Japan. My friend and I have no idea what to do. I have try to search for good abroad programs, but can't find any good ones. I'm a freshmen in a community college (Northeast Texas Community College) right now and the only travel courses my college offers is Greece, Turkey, Egypt. My college has a partnership with Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. So I'm not really sure how to start and I don't know if this will help me with college & all. Also does it depend what your studying? because I'm majoring in Communications. So I'm not sure if its useful for me to study abroad. All I want is to travel somewhere and experience something new and learn from a different culture that is all. Is it just best to study abroad in Japan or just go to Japan for vacation?. Any help would be appreciate.

  • Answer:

u have to write directly to univ of tokyo, keio uni, and google some others too in other cities - osaka, kobe. outside tokyo u stand a better chance. there's also JICA - international cooperation agency which gives scholarships. pl try. japan is good if not, try korea, philippines or indonesia where its very cheap. to travel around japan as a tourist needs lots of $$$
