Do any airlines offer student discounts? Input for sponsor ideas appreciated?

  • My son is a college student here in south Louisiana, and is attending a French Immersion summer semester at a university in Nova Scotia this July. Are there any airlines that offer student discounts? We're both looking online, and at previous questions here, but no luck so far. Also, anyone with input as far as organizations or sponsors that aid college students with continuing education expenses or the like, would be so helpful. I am researching any type of French groups or organizations that might offer assistance....but it's mostly in French! His university is helping him with tuition, but the additional costs are still quite high. Thanks so much!

    Have you tried STA Travel? It's a world-wide travel agency chain aimed at college students, and often does get discounted flights. It's not always discounted, however, so always compare with other sites before you buy. http://www.statravel.com/
