How can I study at a university in Japan?

Study abroad for an American at Temple University in Japan?

• I really want to study abroad in Japan and I heard that the is an American campus there," Temple University" in Japan. My parent's won't pay for I'll have to apply for a scholarship. What are the requirements and is it possible to study there for my full degree then start living there after I graduate from Their college since I plan on being an English teacher. By the way, I really want to become a citizen of Japan, I don't plan on going back to the USA. And could you please tell me about whether knowing Japanese is evry essential and how much fluency is needed. I also plan on learning the language for I already started but I can't really advance on it, not until I reach Japan. Thank you for your answers
