What is the procedure to study law in the USA?

I'm completely confused about how the system works out there. Do you have to have a degree in something before you go to Law school...or?

The whole system is different. Here college is akin to european high school. So yes, you have to have a degree to get into law school, just like you have to complete 5th or 6th year in high school to go to university in (Scotland) the UK.

You would need a four year Bachelor degree, then take the LSAT exam, then apply to Law schools, which is another 3 years. Then study and take the Bar exam in order to practice law
