What is a good entry level job that involves worldwide travel?

Entry level job where i get to travel or live abroad?

  • I am going to graduate from college in a few weeks with a bachelor in architecture. I want to get a job where i get to travel or even better, one that i get to live in another country other than the US. I don't care if it's not an architecture job, it would be nice if it was related, but not mandatory. I also don't have to do anything that would be my job forever, just something to get some life experiences. I have noticed job listings for entry level applicants who want to teach english (and don't have to be bilingual) to Korean students. This might be okay, but i wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. I just want to see the world and wanted to see if anyone had any advice on what i could do. I would love to hear from you.

  • Answer:

I was a Head Teacher with English Village, a South Korean government organization (i.e. NOT fly by night like some small, private academies are) from Dec 2004 - 2006. It's a great place to work and they are currently recruiting. Check it out: http://www.english-village.co.kr/

Have you considered the military? I know most people have a kneejerk reaction to the idea, but as a college graduate you wouldn't have to enlish, you could enter as an officer. You might want to check into it.
