What are some good internships abroad programs that are not expensive?

What are some affordable internships, teaching, or volunteer programs in Italy?

• Hi, I am graduating college next year with 2 B.S. degrees in Economics and Biology. I would like to spend some time abroad in Italy to experience something new and different, as well as make connections to potentially move there full time eventually. I have visited Italy a few times and really liked my experiences there and all over Europe. I am looking for a new exciting experience and I feel interning or working abroad would be a great experience. I am not looking to get rich working abroad, I just want to be able to survive and come close to breaking even while experiencing something new. I am looking for any pointers on programs or websites to explore that can lead me towards an internship or a job abroad (mainly in Italy). I would also volunteer abroad as long as I am provided with something to cover my costs of living. I would even be up for finding people to stay with who I can teach English to or take care of their home maintenance or watch their kids. All the sites I have found have programs that are asking around $4000 just to arrange the situation and I still have to pay living expenses and more. Does anyone have any better ideas or experience in this area?

  Mr. H hate to be the one that give you bad news. But you won't be able to teach in Italy since your not an EU citizen. The reason is an employer has to offer you a job teaching. To do so he/she would have to advertise the job in all 27 EU countries before they take someone from outside the EU. Too much paper work and red tape. That why employer find it a lot easier to hire British or Irish teachers to teach in Europe no visa, work pemit etc.
