Leaving uni what happens to student finance?
-
I left uni 2 months after starting in September. I have already spend my loan and grant on transport, books and don't ask what happens to the rest. Really dumb I know. I'm just wondering how they will ask me to pay back, I'm looking for a job to pay back slowly but with they allow me yo do that. And also I want to go apply for another university next year will student finance let me take out a loan again? I feel like an idiot who has made a huge mistake but I need to know what options I have and how much trouble I've put myself in!! Please help?

Answer:
They will be reasonable, student loans dont usually start payback until you are earning decent money. But they probably will not give you another year one loan - get working and saving hard. They will resume loans etc in year two probablly but you have to realy dig in and save enough cash to cover another first year. Sorry that happened.
