Should I live with my boyfriend, or stay at my university accommodation?

  • Should I live with my boyfriend, or stay at my university accommodation? I'm 18 and have been going out with my boyfriend for 4 years almost 5 since we were 13. Next year I am starting University and I am so confused where I should stay? Everyone thinks I should stay at the University accommodation because it's my first year away from home and they think it will be easier, The accommodation style is flatting and 400 a fortnight. I feel like it would be good to stay there so I know where my classes are and meet people. However. I love my boyfriend so much, where he's going there's no accommodation so he has to find his own and he wants me to live with him. I want to stay with him because I'm always with him and love him so much, he gives me security and makes me feel better, and i'm scared I won't get to see him much at my accommodation. I'm so confused and I'm starting to get really anxious over it to the point of being in tears.

    Ask yourself: what/who is more important? career or your boyfriend? In my opinion, you should choose university. You're only 18. You're young, and it's not like you two won't ever see each other again.

If your boyfriend loves you he'll be happy whatever you do. I think living at uni accomadation will help you meet new people easier and will make it less stressful. Also people do argue or break up and I know that this seems kinda mean to say but staying at a uni accommodation will mean fewer issues if something did happen between you and your boyfriend. finally living together can put a lot of strain on any relationship and being younger and with the stress of uni living separately might keep you strong together :) don'y worry though, either way i'm sure you'll have an amazing time and your boyfriend will support you
