How much would it cost to go to college in the UK?

  • I am wondering what it would be for me (a girl from the USA) to get my PhD in psychology at a british school like birmingham university or in ireland at a school like cork college. how much (in american money if possible) would I pay for school each year, and how much would room and board and in general living be?

    College is free. University costs upwards of £3.5k per year. Which is about $7k. (the pound is pretty much double the dollar) Depending on the Uni (Im not sure what Birmingham's fees are right now) it can cost up to £9k per year Accommodation is the same, £3.5k a year.

tuition fees have currently risen this year to £9000 which is around $14000 , cost of living will be around £4000 pounds which is $6000 so your looking at $20000
