Alright guys so I want to get into an Ivy League basically Harvard but the issue is that I am not an extra ordinary student in studies at my school so does that mean that I should not even think of applying?? But i do have many extra-curricular achievements and my everything but I am not brilliant in studies so even if i get extra-ordinary score in my SAT does it still mean that the doors of ivy league universities are closed for me? I want to do an undergraduate in economics. Also what would be the fee of these university's? I want to know the fee of the whole course not per semester. I hope to get help soon and I would like to apologies for the typing errors.

Answer:
Harvard's acceptance rate is 7%. They get well over 10,000 top notch application to choose from. Only a handful of international students are going to be accepted. Harvard only enrolls about 2000 freshman each year For any Ivy league school plan on paying over $45,000 per year. Tuition and room and board price can go up each year. In the US, we do not list cost per course. So multiply $45,000 by four and you will have a ball park figure of what you will be paying. If you don't have perfect or close to perfect grades AND SAT subject scores- CR./W and Math of 700+ you won't have a chance of getting in.

Most of the Ivy League Schools only accept between 9% and 11% of their applicants. Their requirements range from 4.0 GPA, SAT 2200-2400 and ACT 28-30. You can count on at least about 96% of the applicants having these grade requirements. That means that a hundred thousand or so 4.0, 2400 SAT, 29 ACT students will not get accepted. Those that are accepted have the Best of marks in their school - the top 10% of their class=if not Valedictorian or Salutatorian, lots and lots of volunteerism, not only clubs=you should be club President or Treasurer or even begin a new club or your own, things like President of Company in Junior Achievement, sports, music or art awards, Junior Citizen Awards, Student United Nations representative, etc. If you aren't at this level, don't even bother applying for an Ivy league school as you'll just waste your money on the application process.

If you want to go to an Ivy School, your unweighted GPA should be 4.0 or something close to that. Your SAT score should be at least in the 1900 range. Time to step up your game.
