When is the best time to study abroad in college?

What are the best places to study abroad in college and why? when is the best time to do studying abroad?

  • Answer:

Anywhere in Spain. January-June. Its warm, its only moderatly expensive, and absolutely crazy. Wonderful weather and tons of fun. I have a lot of wonderful memories and no regrets! I can't even speak much Spanish, to my embarassment, but it was a great 6 months! Las Fallas in March/April in Valencia is amazing. June has the running of the Bulls. August is the great tomato war in Valencia. Barcelona has enough to keep you busy for days. Something is always going on somewhere--I was always running in to random parades filled with people in traditional dress, or fireworks. They also take the siesta for three hours a day and everything closes down. The people are so laid back, so don't expect anything to ever be on time!

Heidelberg - High academic standards, great scenery, good food and wine, and in the middle of Europe for sight seeing. Prague is also good and cheaper.
