If I want to study law in England, can I work in Australia?
-
I really want to study law when I am older but I'm just concered as to wether studying in a country will limit my opportunities of work. So if i study in London, where I live, when I finish, can I go and work in Australia, baring in mind the fact that I want to study criminal law? As that is what I really want to do! Will I have to study in Australia or can I just study in the UK then move to Australia and undergo a 'general knowledge' test or something? HELP!

Answer:
British and Australian law are both based on Common Law so you will not have a difficult time making the switch. Make sure you go to a well known school like UCL or Kings and you will be fine.
