Can i transfer to another University as a freshman ?

All universities have a credit minimum and also a GPA minimum before they can consider you a transfer (they don't want people who just started college and are a month in). Some are 12 minimum, others are 32-35 minimum. If you have some credits, like 12, 15, or 18, then you will still be just another HS student in their eyes. You will have to send HS transcripts and SAT scores. They won't even look at your college transcripts until (if) you get in. If you want to apply as a freshman, than you will have to do all the steps you did when you first applied like getting HS transcripts and SAT scores. If you want to get in to "ok" university and then transfer to a better one, apply to St Leo University, they take almost everyone. I'm finishing my first semester here and then after the second one, i am going to transfer to NYIT because of the 24 credit minimum. NYIT is a good school that has like a 60% acceptance rate, still hard to get into on my list. Good Luck.

usually you need to have at least 60 units completed before you can transfer anywhere. talk to your advisor.
