What are the best foreign exchange programs for teenagers?

Japanese Exchange Programs?

• I live in England, so from all the sites i see, they're more directed at the Americans. I've always been interested in Japan, and have wanted to go over there for years. Recently i found out that two of my friends have got exchange programs to the country. Only thing is, one friend's from Sweden, the other from Canada. My college doesn't do exchange programs either. Except for the one week exchange with America for the Drama Course. I would be beyond thrilled and over joyed to find a way that i can go on an exchange to Japan. My college course ends this years and i don't University until September. If anyone could help me to find a site or program that link England with Japan. I'd be so grateful if you could help me.   Have you looked at AFS? I know its American, but it operates internationally. Also try looking up JFIE. They are a Japanese organisation, that have partners in many countries. This is who I went through in High School. I don't know what the UK partner is, or if there is one as I'm from NZ. You might want to look at doing JET, but that isn't so much an exchange as you are teaching english. There is also Rotary exchange or EF EF seems good www.ef-uk.co.uk/master/hsy/ I hope that helps.
