Can Foreign Student Do Part Time Jobs While in Privet University in Singapore.?

Hi, I’m Sri Lankan and wish to go Singapore for my further education. I selected some privet universities. Let me know can I do any part time job while I’m studying? I know they allow for poly students and some uni students to do jobs part time 16 hours & during vacation full time. I referred ICA web. But I heard some student do part time jobs even they in privet unis. How is that? If we get permission from our privet uni, can we do a part time job? Or is there any other way? Highly appreciates if anybody can reply me. Thank you,
