How can I get a scholarship in any US college or Canada?

I'm currently in my junior year of high school. I don't live in the United States however, I'm top of my class and have managed to make a portfolio with all my best work including field work, essays, a few thesis and investigations. I know I'm a good candidate for a scholarship but don't really know how it all works and am not a US citizen.

First of all where are you from? Since it's not the US or Canada, if we know where you are from people may be able to give you better help (guidance/direction). What do you want to major in? That would also help. Good luck and I hope you don't get a lot of nasty/sarcastic answers which, unfortunately, I've seen many on this site.

You can get scholarships by participating in essay contest conducted by caluniversity.edu I just heard about an online contest - “California InterContinental University 2009 Scholarship Prize Essay Contest”. it’s about an essay writing contest and the winner gets prize money.

Contact colleges you are interested in they will help you. So, lets say you want to go to Harvard then go on the internet google them find the school website call the school and ask all the questions you need answered...
