Where should I study abroad this summer?

Next summer.. Study abroad or NYC?

• So, this is the summer before my last year in college. I have always wanted to study abroad and it's been one thing after another for a very long time. But also, being in NYC would be awesome. Yes, partly because of my boyfriend. We are long distance and this summer together would be much needed cause we can, and long distance sucks, and I need to meet his parents now. I would be working there too, and so I could presumably save for school next year, which I need to do. I could do a shorter study abroad. Like, a few weeks, or during next Christmas, or during Spring Break. Or, I could just study abroad all summer. But see, I really want to see him, too, and meet his parents. They're from Sri Lanka and who knows when I'll be able to meet them. And it's really important, absolutely important, for our relationship that I see them (long story) while they're visiting, which is sometime in June, for several weeks. I'm just not sure how to balance all of this... I could do half NYC, half study abroad. But then if I'm in NYC, I'd have a job for the whole summer. So....?
