University application dilemma.

University application dilemma?

  • I applied for a foreign university a while back.. They require A levels for entrance to 2nd year and GCSE for entrance to 1st year. However, there was a mistake and my application was taken as 2nd year when I was actually applying for first year. I emailed them recently asking about my application. They asked if I was still going to send my A level results or if I insisted on going to first year.. I told them that I insisted on going to first year.. But it's been 4 days now and I haven't heard from them.. I'm thinking of phoning them tomorrow but I'm not sure how to ask politely.. Basically I want to know how my application is going and if they are still considering me... Thanks

  • Answer:

"Excuse me, my name is [first and last name]. I applied to your university as a first-year student and I want to make sure my application is still in consideration because I know there has been some trouble with it."
