Can students in Germany work freelance?

Can foreign students study M.B.B.S and work simultaneously in Germany? Is M.B.B.S. full scholarship in Germany?

  • How much it costs to study M.B.B.S. in Germany in full scholarship for foreign students? Do I need to take some test there in Germany or will it be confirmed in my country that I have been selected to study in Germany? Do I get to stay in the hostel or have to stay outside? Is staying in hostel free of cost?

  • Answer:

what's MBBS? Is it a full-time course or part-time? Distance-learning or not? In Germany, if you are foreign full-time student you are normally not allowed to work more than a certain amount of hours per week (which is rather low). You will also have to prove that you have A-levels/baccalaureat/similar, and if you don't have an acknowledged high-school diploma you are required to re-do the German "Abitur" at the "Fremdsprachenkolleg". If you already have an acknowledged university degree then you should not be required to re-sit your A-levels. Also, you might not have to prove that your German language skills are sufficient (it really depends on what kind of course you want to attend). In Germany there are more and more universities also offering courses in English. Best would be to get in touch with university in Germany and check about their requirements. Then get in touch with the German consulate in your home country and check with their requirements. Good luck!
