How does W E S (world education system) for evaluation of credentials works for students studying in Canada.?

My son has completed his degree in electronics engineering in India (four year degree). He is pursuing advance diploma in electronics (two years fast track course) in Centennial college of Toronto Canada. can any body inform is he doing right course. Whether credentials ascertained from the WES Canada will be useful to him. He is going to complete 2nd semester of the course. Should he change the course now or should he complete his two years .
