How much does it cost to study in the USA or Canada?

  • i'm british and currently at college doing A Levels. i'm hoping to go to leeds university and do a degree in history. on their website, it says i will have the opportunity to study abroad for one out of the three years of the course. the tuition fees for a year are around £3500. how much should i expect to pay if i decided to study in america or canada for a year? thanks.

Honestly, it would be a lot of money in general. Especially in the USA, they run to about $15000+ a year.. If your looking for a good enough school. And the tuition rates are actually increasing through out the years.. I would stay in the UK..

anywhere from 10 to fifteen thousand canadian, maybe more. Because you're doing it as a co-op, im assuming, some funding is probably provided.

You wont have to pay anywhere near the full tuiton fee. It is usually less than £1000 if you study at Leeds and elect to do a study year abroad. I am currently a 2nd year student there (business) and hoping to go to Canada. Just be aware that they can be expensive eg maintenance and living costs.
