Pre law and crimnal justic undergraduates international student ..In USA universities please?

  • Is true that I can study pre law after high school or I have to have previous degree in any BA major ? Some people told me studying law in USA is different in USA and I have to have a BA degree befor studying law but there are two departments in law that might accept high shhool graduates to be enrolled which they are pre law and crimnal justic ..So is it true ?

  • Answer:

Pre-law is not a degree program and studying it or criminal justice does not increase your chances of getting into a US law school. You need a Bachelors degree in any field to get into law school; it can be a BA or BS. You should be aware that studying US law as an international student would not be beneficial unless you plan to work in a country that follows the US legal system. You can only work in the US if you get a work permit. These are only issued for fields which are in need. Law is not one of those fields.
