What do you need to apply to University in the UK?

What qualification do i need to study university in the uk if i have studied up to 12th year in portugal?

• i i'm a uk citizen but i have always studied in portugal. i i´m currently in the 11th year studying science but i would like to do uni in the uk but need to know what the equivalence of the portuguese qualification are in the uk. for instance in portugal after 3 years of secondary school we get a average form 1 to 20 so if i got a average of 16 what would that mean to the uk university's? PS: i would like to study forensic science or environmental science

  You can NOT get into a Masters programme unless you have a Bachelors degree. (4 years) You can do 2 years at a community college then transfer to a four year college for the final two years. Yes it will take you 2-3 years to complete your Masters. And an additional 3 or so years for your PhD. Also Masters are more difficult than Bachelors degrees. Hence the name (lol). You will be doing mostly research unsupervised and have to present your findings to panels. This is not done in undergrad.
