Can you work and study Spanish in Spain?

I'm a US citizen who wants to work and study in spain! If I have great granparents who are Irish can that help

  • I'm a US CITIZEN and I want to work and go to school in Spain, and I know about the process to take for that and MY deceased Great Grandfather was from IRELAND, is there any way i can use that to help me make it easier getting there and working and studying?

  • Answer:

Your Great Grandfather being from Ireland as no effect on studying in Spain. The fact that you are a U.S. citizens means you would be classed as an international student, so you would apply to the school , pay the fees and be subjected to the same work requirements as any other international student who wishes to study in Spain.

There is a great book called "Work,Study,Travel Abroad." It is updated annually and chock full of programs for almost any country you can think of. I got into a volunteer program in London for the summer of 1995. It was awesome. Check for it at Barnes and Noble
