How to go on student exchange to England?

I want to go to England to be a foreign exchange student but...?

  • I've wanted to go to England all of my life. I love the culture, the music, and most of all the accents. I looked into being a foreign exchange student but it's a lot of money. I'm not sure how to convince my parents to let me go, let alone pay for all of trip. I know a lot of websites have a thing where you you can get a scholarship but even with that it's a lot. There's a place called rotary.com and it's cheaper than the other places, but it's highly competitive and I'm not sure how good you have to be to get in. Does any one have any tips of how to Persuade my parents into letting me go? Also is there any other sites to go that it will be cheaper?

  • Answer:

Tell your parents this is something that will look good on an application for a job or college. It shows that you are responsible, well cultured and can take the consequences of your actions. That is what I am telling mine. If you learn another language it will really help you later on in life. I hope I helped. Good luck! How old are you? If you're still at school you could try and raise money for a school exchange. I'm from England and we do this every year to places in Spain, France, Japan and Ghana!
