How do I get better study habits?

I type up a study guide or write one out with all the important information I learned and make the facts easy to remember.

I think you should make cornell notes in class. They helped me study for my tests even better. I know that it sounds obvious but also include what you teacher writes on the board when he/she is teaching or reviewing work and something they say repeatedly. Also, if you study only the day before the tests/quizzes, start studying like a week before. Study little bit each day but not like one thing. For an example, if you have 2 pages to study that have notes on front and back of the paper, study half the first front side of the page or half 1 day, then the next day, study another side of a page, or half of a page, etc... What I use are flashcards. Use them for math formulas, memorizing facts, etc. The hard part is making questions with these answers. Right now I use flashcards for religion and it's working great! Also, review your notes before and after class. Read things out loud. Do your homework. Make sure you understand everything. If you need help on a particular subject, ask for it.
