Well, most new teachers from the UK looking for a first job teaching tend to either go to Southern Europe or Asia. In Southern Europe the jobs are a little harder to come by than they used to be due to the recession, but there are still plenty of jobs in Asia (China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam). If you end up in any of those countries you'll meet plenty of other British teachers. The bottom line is though that it really depends on you - with perseverance you can find work in almost any country you like. So if you fancy France or somewhere in South America, go for it!
