What is the best university in the UK if you are from America?

If I live in the uk, is it stupid to apply for a university in america?

  • hey, i am so passionate for dance, but i know america and uk is brill for dance.. but i have always wanted to go to a dance college in america, be honest would it be stupid to try and apply for america as i wanted to try one near new york would it be too difficult to stay and get a job etc? need advice please, xx

its not horribly difficult to find a job in America, but it isn't easy at all either. Just make sure you save up a lot of money, because it wont be cheap by any means. maybe just to be sure you want to study in America, stay there for a week or so in new york or something to get a feel of things and do some college visits. If not, there is nothing wrong with staying in the UK and studying... Best of luck!!!

It's not stupid, but England has a much better education system. Because we (Im an American) are fighting an endless war right now, It's VERY difficult to find a job and didnt you know about terroism 9/11 in New York last time? They're using lots of money to fix it up by taking college funds and now there are lots of student protestors. But by reading http://www.abroadeducation.com.np/study-in/united-states/reasons-to-study-in-usa.html I can see why you would like to study here. I hope you LUCK!

You will find it hard to get a visa into the states and they would want you to have funds to keep you going whilst you study.
