What are international universities in Japan?

What is the language of teaching in japan universities ?

  • I want to study in japan for an undergraduate or a graduate degree , so do they teach in ENGLISH or only in Japanese ?

  • Answer:

Most universities teach only in Japanese. However, recently, the government has targeted several top universities for internationalization. These institutions offer a limited number of programs taught entirely in English. You would also be taught Japanese. You can find more information about these at http://www.uni.international.mext.go.jp/

I'm actually planning on doing that too once I am done with high school. I would recommend learning Japanese before you go though. To be honest I find it easier than English lol. There are some colleges in Japan that offer English courses. If you have trouble finding them I would recommend joining an exchange program. Remember to apply for as many scholarships as you can, its expensive to go there. Remember plane ticket fare, your going to need a place to stay, and to pay for the classes. I have been doing allot of research on this for a while now. Well good luck!

There are some schools that teach in English. After all, think of all the military who get transferred out there. Some schools have professors who teach Japanese and English. You should do it! Studying abroad was the most fun I've ever had in school.
