How will a 2 year US general degree work in the UK?
-
Planning on moving the Uk and Im still undecided on a 4 year degree choice. I could go in multiple directions with the degree that I have already completed. With all the indecision Im wonderinf if a general 2 year degree would be the best choice. Primarily Im only looking to avoid O/A levels so I wont have to start completely over, considering I could finish a general degree in half a year, when I move. Unsure if a 2 year degree needs to kind of dictate the direction of a 4 year degree or if the general studies is the equivalent of A levels.

Answer:
A general studies degree is not the equivalent of A Levels. UK universities require your SAT scores along with at least 3 AP scores OR SAT subject test scores OR 1 year of university completed. Degrees in the UK are 3 years in length. They are no general education requirements. You would need to start your degree from scratch
