  I'm an international student right now in Denmark studying at the University of Copenhagen and I lived last year at my apartment with many international and ELS students in Berkeley where I study at UC Berkeley. Having experienced what it's like to be both a native student interacting with international students and being an international student myself, I believe that international students are great. Bringing another culture abroad, another language or another way of life is always interesting and I think that most people react positively to international students and even gravitate towards them because international students are different and can be exciting. At my school I think we treated international students well and the ones I met loved their time in California and being with us native students. I personally really enjoyed talking to international students because they were excited to be somewhere new and wanted to do new things so I was kind of a guide. I lived with some students from Korea and Japan and they loved being over here and I liked talking to them and helping them with their english as well and I think they really enjoyed their time at my school.
