How to become a nurse anesthetist?

How do you become a Nurse Anesthetist in the Republic of Ireland when no programs are commonly offered?

  • I am planning on attending my first four years of university in America (obtaining my Bachelor's) and then studying abroad in Ireland to become a CRNA. Anyone know how to go about achieving this? I have heard that it is virtually impossible to get a job in this area because of lack of experience..but..somehow, I think that that might be a bit false seeing as you would have gone to school there. Keep in mind that I will be working as a Registered Nurse during my BSN schooling and either a CNA or Phlebotomist during my RN schooling; so I won't be an 'outsider' to the nursing fields.

  • Answer:

According to what I hear, Ireland are not employing currently. Mind you that's not to say they ain't recruiting. Totally different
