Live in US but want to study in UK. Help?
-
I live in the US but I want to study in the UK for my postgrad. However, I don't want to pay the international student tuition (being that for UK/EU applicants is $5,000 per year vs international tuition is $22,000 to $30,000 per year. HUGE difference). Does anyone know if it's possible to get my undergraduates here then live there for about a year until I finally apply for the uni? Or will I still be considered an international student? I know that in the US you can set up your residency in the state you wish to go to college to get the reduced tuition but I'm not sure if it'll work like that for foreigners.

Answer:
You are classified as an international student if you have not lived in the UK throughout the three years immediately preceding the beginning of your course.
