What is art like in the south of France?

What are some good art schools in France?

  • Hi, I was wondering if anyone could suggest some schools in France for me? I'm currently a sophomore in the United States, and I want to go to college for art in France. I'm not sure where to start to go about looking into this. I want to move to France after I graduate highschool, and then attend college in France and live there for the rest of my life. I have almost two years of French classes, but by the time I graduate, I'll have had four. Anyway, if anyone could help me understand how to start looking into schools over there, that'd be great. I want to go to a nice art school, preferably near Paris, that isn't overly expensive. And if you know of any good law schools close to the art school, that would be fantastic, as my boyfriend wants to go to law school over there. Thanks!

Hi, You should take all your decisions only after going through this website http://usa.campusfrance.org or http://www.campusfrance.org Locate their office in your country and get in touch with their counselors. They are the best people to guide you. Since you want to study art, you have to refer this site: http://campusart.org/flash/eduen_content.asp As you boyfriend wants to study Law, ask him to see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_law_schools_in_France Speak to the CampusFrance office, once you select the schools. I believe that you need to register yourself on the CampusFrance website to apply to Universities. Confirm everything from the CampusFrance website.I think you need a Level B2 in French to study In France. Contact the nearest Alliance Francaise for details regarding exams or ask the French Embassy. Here is a sample question paper for the DELF B2 http://www.ciep.fr/delfdalf/documents/DELF_B2.pdf All the best!

hey , While I was searching for a good college I found one web site that offers you to browse a ton of different schools.Actually there are many sites online but most of them are paid. This one is free(no hidden charges) . http://EduFinder.info You should try it Hope that was helpful

First off, you should visit France for a few months before deciding to attend school there or 'live there for the rest' of your life. If you plan on living near Paris, room and board will most likely end up being the same cost or more then your tuition. A very well known art school in Paris is Parsons. Its hard for me to take your question seriously for you're very unrealistic, but if you are serious about moving yourself there one day I would highly suggest being open to the entire country of France, not just Paris and realizing life goes beyond high school, so stop thinking the people who you are in relationships now are very unlikely to be in your future.
