What does make you prefer NoVa to any other place in America?

Which is the best university/place to study in Canada?

• I am currently a freshman attending school in America. I would absolutely love to study abroad for my sophomore year in Canada, however I can not decide where to study. Personally I would love to go to Quebec so I could brush up on my French, however if there is a better school out of these options then I wouldn't hesitate to go there instead. I'm only going for my GE requirements, so I'm not looking at schools specializing in any major. An overall beneficial college experience with great professors and environment will do. However, I am BIG on location, so if the college is lousy but its city is amazing then I would probably take that into consideration. Prestige is a plus. Anyway, here are the choices that I am left with: University of Calgary (Alberta) University of Northern British Columbia (British Columbia) Sir Winfred Grenfell College (Newfoundland and Labrador) Cape Breton University (Nova Scotia) Bishop's University (Quebec) Universite de Sherbrooke (Quebec) University of Regina (Saskatchewan) University of Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan) Insofar the Universite de Sherbrooke is at the top of my list, but with zero knowledge of Canada, I don't feel incline to make that decision yet. I am currently double majoring in Film and English and minoring in Philosophy. Again, I'm only going for my GE but if a school were to have some distinct advantage in my area of study, then I suppose I would also take that in account.

  I would suggest you Memorial University of Newfoundland . It is the best place to study in Canada with its excellent educational staff, incredibly beautiful campus and an administration that is extremely interested in student communication and relations. You will also enjoy the city.(St John's). This city hugs the Atlantic Ocean and is rich in natural beauty and home to some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.The people are really amazing! Sir Winfred Grenfell College is pretty good as well. It is in Corner Brook. It is the west coast campus of Memorial University of Newfoundland.
