Is mechatronics a good field?

I am planning for Ms in Germany in either mechatronics or embedded systems field my profile is as follows:?

• B.tech 64%(6th sem) no backlogs, 2 Internships in Embedded systems(12weeks together),2 Workshops in Robotics one of em from IITbombay, Industrial training from BSNL,DOORDARSHAN and ALL India Radio, Couple of ppts won at national level and bunch of em presented at national level,I am the students secretary of my dept.good in sports too.Strong LORs,Mini project on IT and Real time final year project on Robotics . I have shortlisted following universities for winter intake .. 1)TU Siegen(Mechatronics) 2)Kaiserslautern(Mechatronics&embedded systems) 3)Dortmund(Automation and robotics) 4)Ravensburg-weingarten(Mechatronics) 5)Braunschweig(Mechatronics n robotics) I'm thinking of Cehmnitz,Bonn, for Embedded systems n mechatronics but I am unaware abt their academic requiremnts..pls help !! Suggest me 2 more universities guys according to the above profile .It'l be a gr8 help !! and also review if I am right in shortlisting the above universities .. ur comments and advice is required guys!! PLz Help !!

  At the moment there is a great rush of Indian graduate students to Germany. Many universities, especially in the western part of the country, are flooded with applications. In order to have realistic chances for admission, applicants should score as many points as possible regarding the following criteria: (1) CGPA > 70%; (2) above-average international test scores (IELTS, TOEFL GRE etc.); (3) substantial work experience; (4) basic German language skills (documented by Goethe certificates).
