What's the best study abroad program for high schoolers?

How Does Study Abroad Work?

  • I'm planning on a college next year with a study abroad program. I'm going to talk to my guidance counselor and the college, but I had a few questions first: Will most colleges let me study abroad the first semester (fall)? Are there specific requirements other than just signing up for a course that includes study abroad, like consistently high grades for (x) amount of time or by random chance? Whats the maximum amount of time I can spend in the other country? Is it possible to do a study abroad and get a degree in another country? Thats all I can think about atm. If you have any other information, let me know. I know many of my questions are vague, but try to give general answers. If you defiantly need more information to give any kind of feedback, email me. Thanks!

  • Answer:

No. At the university I attended you needed to have a GPA over 3.2 to study abroad. Usually 2 semesters. Not unless the universities have some kind of partnership
