I can see that, in addition to not "liking to read"... you can't spell either. Your desire to get through life the easiest way possible by NOT forcing yourself to learn to read or write has set you up for failure... and only YOU can straighten things out and get over your depression. What I don't understand is, how in the WORLD did they even let you INTO a Bachelor's Degree Program that requires intensive reading, math, writing and comprehensive abilities.

Hi, you need to ask yourself why you hate reading? Reading, whether in a school setting or doing it all by yourself is the stepping stone to life's success. If you don't read, you cannot gain information and if you don't gain information, you will never gain knowledge and without knowledge, life can be very tough. Your not meant to be a nurse. Being a nurse is a very important job to take seriously. You have to be able to understand what the doctor has prescribed for the patients care. Someone like you is bound to make many mistakes due to your poor interest in the field. If it were your true calling you would make every effort to exceed in learning what needs to be learned in order to achieve your nursing diploma. Since you don't like reading an nursing as I said requires learning. Your not nurse material. The way I see it a job that requires smarts is not for you. Go flip burgers.

Is it possible you don't really want to be a nurse? Seems to me you're sabotaging yourself for a reason- listen loud and clear to what your heart and actions are telling you. I know you don't want to be seen or feel like a failure, but if you were really interested in succeeding you would find a way to do whats required. I think I'm the worlds biggest procrastinator and hate reading too, but I managed to get through my BSN with a very good gpa pulling all-nighters, doing awsome last minute reports, etc. (ok- not really the best way to do things, I admit, but like I said, I'm the world's biggest procrastinator) .But I really wanted to succeed, and knew my stuff because I knew what needed to get done and did them, one way or another . When things I gotta do aren't really for me, though, and my hearts not in it, I do the same things you do. Is this what you really want to do with your life?
