Acceptance letter and Canadian Student Visa?

Questions on obtaining a Canadian Student Visa. "Important"?

  • I am a 21 years old guy, from Bahrain. Last time I applied for a student visa, it got rejected due the lack of prove of funds. I handed them these list of papers: 1- My Centre acceptance letter 2- My CAQ letter (I'm going to study in Quebec) 3- My father's letter that says he's able to cover me while in Canada including my living and fees expenses. His commercial licence of his private owned business in Dubai. His apartment contract. His office rental contract. 4- Letter of my future plans, stating that I have a chance to be employed in my father's business once I finish my studies in Canada. 5- Medical examinatin. Paid for my tution in Canada and my temprary one week staying with a family in Laselle. Yet, they rejected my visa saying I don't have prove of funds, my application has missing documents ( which im sure my application has everything) and the ties of my home country. My dad called a canadian consulator and asked him about my application in the Canadian embassy and he said there weren't enough prove of funds. He said also, so many people go to Canada and stay there, We don't need people like that, we need something that attact you back to your home country. The problem is, My dad is new to this business and it's doing so well already. He's just about to open his bank account in Dubai. Is it possible that I'll get a student visa with a new bank account statement? I will create a bank statement of 33,000 Canadian Dollars under my name as well. I'd ask the bank to issue a letter that says my father is able to send me 30,000 Canadian Dollars per year to cover my study and living expenses. Is there any chance that I'll be rejected again? Please, keep me positive. Looking forward to hear your opinions. Thanks very much.

  • Answer:

There is always a chance that you could be rejected, visa applications are never guaranteed regardless of how well put together said application is. You were rejected last time because you failed to provide a bank statement; a mere letter from your father is not proof of funds. Future income is also not considered, the funds must be readily available.
