How can I study in the US for free?

How can I study in the US? Not American.?

  • I 'm a guy from Greece who wants to study in US. One of these days was my 17th birthday so I really started becoming interested in my future. I 'm an average student in school but I consider myself very smart and able to learn lots of stuff. Only language I know is english with papers and all and I plan on starting spanish. So, I want to study psychology somewhere but I don't know how or where and I 'm completely lost. Do I have to pay? Are there any entry requierments? Can I work in the meanwhile? Is it a difficult task to pass the exams? One thing I should mention is that I 'm good in soccer, like really good. Also, my family isn't what you 'd call wealthy in any way. Thanks for any help.

    Yes you have to pay. Plan on at least $30,000 per yr for tuition and room and board. Books, travel and personal expenses will be more. You need to take the SAT www.collegeboard.org. You can go on to any US schools web site to see requirements for international students. Tuition, room and boards cost will be there too. You need to apply, be accepted, prove you can pay, then apply for a student visa. I assume that you have finished high school. You need to have TOEFL & SAT scores in order to get admission in any US university for higher studies. You need a student visa (F-1) and enough money or financial support to pay for 1 year atleast. All the university admissions requirements are available on their websites.
