How can I study abroad if...?
-
Hey I was wondering. I know most Universities have abroad programs, but I was wondering if students are allowed to study abroad in places that the school they attend does not offer. In other words could I study abroad Scotland even if my school does not offer a study abroad program that has to do with Scotland? I would like to study overseas while majoring in Biology and find out if its possible my school will approve of it. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Answer:
You can always study abroad through private providers or exchange networks. At my school, ISA and ISEP are very popular but there is a long list of options. You just need to let your university know in advance of your plans and work with an adviser to ensure that all of your credits transfer back okay.
