Is it hard to study medicine in Greece?

What do you think is best option if i want to study medicine?

• Hello to all, so i am from greece and here it hard to get in medicine ,so i am thinking to study abroad. My cousin who is also from greece went in new york city where we have a close relative in order to study medicine.He first got into CUNY-queens college and had a major in chemistry-biochemistry.All in all the tuition fees were about 40.000 $for 4 years .Now after 4 years he got in New york University to be a dentist ,for him as an international students the fees are about 50.000$ per year. Now my question i am thinking of doing the same.Go into queens study chemistry -biochemistry and then apply to universities in new york for medicine.I can afford the fees for the college and my uncle is willing to sign a loan for me for the medical school.What do you think of the situation?Will I have a change to get into medical schools? What are my other options? Is it cheaper to study medicine in UK ( don;t forget i have a house in new york and i will not pay rents or for food) or maybe SCOTLAND?   Thats actually a great idea. I originally came as an international student to the United States. The fees you mention are astronomically high but if you can afford it, then go for it. Med school is easier to get into in the US than in most other countries. That is because there is an abundance of colleges and universities. The other reason is because getting in is pretty much a guarantee as long as you have good enough grades and the ability to pay. If your grades are a little on the lower side, there are many other great options open, such as pharmacy school, physical therapy school, and dental school. I do not know anything about the school system in UK. Good luck.
