How can I be interested in school and studying?

Im a sophomore in high school and im interested in studying abroad in England. ?

• hey um im a sophomore in high school in new york. Ive been dying to study abroad in England for quite a while now. I think it'll be a great opportunity but i have many questions. please help!!! 1. can i even study abroad being that im only a sophomore? 2. my school doesn't have that so how do i even get to do that? 3. is it expensive, around how much? i was thinking id like to stay just for a semester. and i don't really have that much money to begin with. 4. would you recommend it 5. would i have to make that semester back up when i return to new york? please add anything else you feel is important. thanks!!

  1. can i even study abroad being that im only a sophomore? Yes, for sure! there are lots of programs that do study abroads for highschoolers starting at about age 15. This is a good time to do it, because in a college exchange you dont always take classes with locals and you dont fully get into the culture 2. my school doesn't have that so how do i even get to do that? most schools dont have that. you should go throught an outside organization like rotary, afs, yfu, cci, ciee, intrax, or a local one. however, i know that afs at least doesnt have exchanges to the UK at all 3. is it expensive, around how much? i was thinking id like to stay just for a semester. and i don't really have that much money to begin with. rotary can be less than most, but the others are about 6000- 11000 dollars 4. would you recommend it.
