How r future prospects and employment for biotechnology students in states .?

    There is a excellent scope for biotechnology in india as well as abroad> Most of the Pharma company like Dr. Reddy Lab, Wockhardt, Sun, Ranbaxy, Cipla are spendin high amount of money on biotechnolgy Park , Wockhardt has recently set Biotechnolgy Park in Banglore in augurated by our honourable President APJ Abdul kalaam.

Hiya, I am one of those ppl who want to go into biotech.. Biotech is really going well in US. I live in San Francisco (the Bay Area) of California and you can't believe how many biotech companies there are in the Bay area.. a few thousand in the whole US... notable ones that I know are Genentech and New England Biolabs. They give us free equipments and reagents (to us high school kids)!! (love them!) They encourage high school classes on biotech... thanks to their generous donations and grant, our school created a biotech program where the students runs this 'GenEdX' company. We always had the biotech class in the past... this is different.. anyways, I just love biotech... By the way, GenEdX makes our own agar gel plates, plasmids, bacteria colonies, etc, to distribute to other schools for free... if you want more details, you can email me at Kohakuboshi425 at yahoo dot com. I will probably just type the notes that the teacher gave us about biotech related things in USA (the big picture) ***Kohaku***
