Should i go to medical school in india or in the us?

Does anyone have any knowledge to share about an american moving to india to go to medical school?

  • i am an american looking to move to india to go to medical school. if anyone has any advice whatsoever i would be so grateful. any idea about the cost of living, getting a student visa, etc. -something that may effect your responses- i have an 8 year old.. cost of living would be for 2. thank you so much for all your help! :)

    hi :) i currently am a NRI student at NHL municipal medical college in ahmedabad, gujarat...the process is not that complicated but you need to apply in end of may/june. The fee is 90,000 dollars for 5 anda half years. I actually still need to get my student visa, im on visitor visa right now...haha... and cost of living is pretty low... im living as a paid guest and the montly cost i have is about 150ish dollars. The education is pretty good, but lots and lots of studying. For admission, your 12th grade transcript is needed for the following classes: physics, biology, chemistry, and english. if you have any other questions, ask :)
