Where are the best universities for architecture?

Of the two universities-- Texas A and M and Illinois at Urbana Champaign, which is better for architecture?

  • My daughter has secured admission for a masters course in Architecture to the two above universities. I would like to know which iof the two universities is better for studying architecture.

    I'd have to say A&M, although I'm biased because I went there. I wasn't an architecture major, but I'm interested in it and I enjoyed taking an architecture class and independent study project there. I had a friend who did arcitecture there who is in grad school at Yale now, so they seem to prepare people well. I don't know much about the other school, although Chicago does have some historic influence in architecture.

A%M of course! not only is the school top of the line, it has much better weather! texas is filled with architecture of many different styles and would be an ideal place to attend.
