How much does an EF College Break Tour cost?

  • Im just trying to figure out how much ill be paying, cuz I might just do it on my own. Can someone help me?

  • Answer:

Hello Campbell! Well, it depends on what trip you'd like to do. I've checked out the price differences and, in general, you do save over $1000 booking with EF than by yourself. The cheaper trips are 8 - 11 days long and prices start at $1180, and as you know they include airfare, hotels, transfers, entrance to some attractions, etc, which is an awesome deal! Also, spring break/winter trips tend to be cheaper in general. I found a cheap trip on EF's site for you: Italy, Germany and Switzerland, 11 days, and the price is around $1900 (depending on your departure city). You can receive a guaranteed $50 discount with the code Kyle3585, too. Some of the shorter/cheaper trips are listed here: http://www.efcollegebreak.com/BrowseTrips/tripsearchresults.aspx?touryear=2009&destination=&length=10&season= As for paying, check out Autopay. It allows you to pay for your trip up until a month prior to departure - this gives you an extra 2 months to pay for your trip so you can earn some extra cash. Also, you can call anytime (800-766-2645) to ask about arranging an alternative payment plan. Hope that helps! Oh, and make sure to book by Oct. 1st to lock in a lower rate! You can change the date/trip anytime up to 99 days before departure to give you some extra time to pin down exactly which one you'd like to do.

Hey Campbell, EF is the cheapest full service tour company you can find for a college break trip! If you can tell me what tour you are looking at I can help break down the costs for you. Just so you know, someone did a breakdown of one of the trips recently and found that on that particular trip you saved around $2000 over doing it yourself. The code Sigart2373 will save you $50 on any tour, and move FAST because trip costs go up on October 1st, so make sure you put your $150 down payment before then!

I am doing a trip this coming May to London, Paris & Rome. It is 12 days and 10 nites and cost $2726 counting roundtrip airfare from NYC and everything else that EF covers such as hotels, transportation between cities etc. Each trip varies greatly in price since some go as long as 30 days. You can see this myspace blog for a comparison of prices of one of the trips. http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=325718309&blogID=435727303 I also am a campus manager so if you have any questions or need help feel free to email me. My promo code: Detko7212 saves you $50 a discount that shows up about a week after you sign up. It also gets me one step closer to getting a free trip to Europe!

I know someone who priced out and compared an EF College Break trip and doing it on your own. She found that it was about $3000 dollars cheaper by booking with EF College Break. That is amazing! Plus, the code CARPER8089 will save you an extra $50 off of your trip!!! If you are still interested, you can contact me through my profile and I can help you plan the trip of a lifetime!!! Thanks!
